Best of all, they love doing it! We specialize in canyon fishing. Canyon fishing typically kicks off in the middle of June and lasts well into November. From June to the end of July, the majority of the fish are caught by trolling. It is not uncommon to have nine reels screaming at once. August starts the 30 hour over night canyon trips. they are combination trips, troll 'till sun set, set up on the night chunk, then troll again at first light. New Jerseys offshore canyons offer Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, and many more. If you are a big game thrill seeker, the Jersey Hooker is the charter boat for you. Sailing from Barnegat Inlet New Jersey gives the Jersey Hooker an advantage over all the other charter boats from the north and south. We are able to fish 7 canyons without limiting your fishing time, not to mention the inshore fishing grounds do not receive the same amount of fishing pressure as the north.
